That night when I fell asleep I swear I hear her whisper my name
Maybe it was a lesson I don’t know why
I felt like I was being punished
And since I didnt feel anything for her
It made me feel the pain by losing someone
I ve never done anything wrong
And she didnt either
She was just too good for this world.
God saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, “Come to me”.
You didn’t deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best
And when I saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain
I could not wish you back
To suffer that again.
God looked around his garden
and He found an empty place
He looked down on the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
